Lumbini is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Rupandehi District of Nepal. It is the place where, according to Buddhist tradition, Queen Mayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama in 563 BCE. Gautama, who achieved Enlightenment some time around 528 BCE, became the Gautama Buddha and founded Buddhism. Lumbini is one of many magnets for pilgrimage that sprang up in places pivotal to the life of Gautama Buddha.

Lumbini has a number of temples, including the Mayadevi Temple and several others which are still under construction. Many monuments, monasteries and a museum — the Lumbini International Research Institute — are also located within the holy site. Also located there is the Puskarini or Holy Pond where the Buddha's mother took the ritual dip prior to his birth and where he, too, had his first bath. At other sites near Lumbini, earlier Buddhas were, according to tradition, born, achieved ultimate Enlightenment and finally relinquished their earthly forms.

Lumbini was granted World Heritage status by UNESCO in 1997

Day 02Kathmandu to Lumbini by Drive.Breakfast and Drive to Lumbini by Private Transfer. Hotel Check in at Lumbini, Refreshment Tours around Lumbini. Overnight at Hotel in Lumbini.

Day 03Lumbini Sight Seeing.Today, Full day Sight Seeing in Maya Devi Temple, Ashokan Pillar, Lumbini Museum, World Peace Pagoda, Tibetan Rabten Monastery and Tilaurakot Palace. Overnight at Hotel in Lumbini.

Day 04Lumbini to Pokhara by Drive. Breakfast and drive to Pokhara, Hotel check in at Pokhara and Sight Seeing Tours of Barahi Temple, Davis fall Gupteshwor Temple, Seti River George and Pokhara Museum. overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.

Day 05Pokhara to Kathmandu by drive.Early in the Morning Sarangkot Sunrise Tours and back to Hotel Via Bindabasini Temple. Breakfast and drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 06Final Departure.Today is your last day of Nepal. According to your flight details we will give good bye departure to Tribhuwan int’l airport in Kathmandu for your own destination. Or you can connect for another trip with us.
